IAN MCCOY, DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS SERVICES

 

Ian McCoy has served as Deputy Director of Business Services for MSD since March 2026. Ian joined MSD in 2008 and has worked in various positions including Senior Computer Systems Analyst, Technical Systems Analyst, Assistant Treatment Superintendent (Capital Program Controls Manager), Information Technology (IT) Assistant Manager, and IT Division Manager.

 

Prior to joining MSD, Ian worked for KiZAN Technologies LLC in Blue Ash, OH, and Scanner Applications, Inc. in Milford, OH. Ian has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) from the University of Cincinnati. Ian has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky with concentrations in Finance and Management. Ian is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and SAFe 5 Scrum Master (SSM).

 

As Deputy Director, Ian oversees the IT and Wastewater Administration (WWA) divisions. The IT Division is responsible for supporting MSD's IT business needs. The WWA Division includes Finance & Accounting, HR, training, and MSD's Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program, among other sections.
