IAN MCCOY, DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS SERVICES

 

Ian McCoy was appointed Deputy Director of Business Services in March 2026. He previously served as head of the IT Division since 2020.

 

In this position, Ian oversees the IT and Wastewater Administration (WWA) divisions. The WWA Division is responsible for finance and accounting, HR, procurement, training, MSD's Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program, and the Customer Assistance Program (CAP), among other functions. The IT Division is responsible for supporting MSD's business needs with specialized expertise to maintain the database infrastructure and services that support them.

 

Ian joined MSD in 2008 and has more than 20 years of experience in financial management, information technology, and organizational leadership.

 

Prior to joining MSD, Ian worked for KiZAN Technologies LLC in Blue Ash, OH, and Scanner Applications, Inc. in Milford, OH. Ian has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) from the University of Cincinnati. Ian has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky with concentrations in Finance and Management. Ian is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and SAFe 5 Scrum Master (SSM).
