The Lick Run Greenway, Cincinnati's newest urban recreational space, is open and available for public events.
HOW TO SCHEDULE
The Lick Run Greenway is maintained by two separate entities: MSD and the Cincinnati Recreation Commission (CRC).
CRC:
CRC maintains the recreational area that includes the main parking lot at 1661 Queen City Avenue, two picnic shelters, playground, spray ground, basketballs courts, the concrete stage, and the grassed areas in between.
PLEASE NOTE:The picnic shelters are currently first come, first served. CRC is not taking reservations at this time.

MSD:
MSD maintains all other areas in the Greenway, from the small pond at the intersecton of old Queen City Avenue to the large pond at State Street. This includes an upper parking lot at 1911 Queen City Avenue.

Earth Day at the Lick Run Greenway, Saturday, April 27, 2024
Join the South Fairmount Community Council, in partnership with Tri-State Trails, Groundwork Ohio River Valley, World Peace Yoga, and MSD, in celebrating Earth Day 2024!
WHAT: Earth Day celebration at the Lick Run Greenway, 1661 Queen City Avenue (45204). All ages can participate. Pets are welcome, as long as they're on a leash. Activities include free bike tuneups, inflatable basketball station, What Not to Flush cornhole, yoga, scavenger hunts, and more.
WHERE: Green space adjacent to the main parking lot at 1661 Queen City Avenue, South Fairmount (45214).
WHEN: Noon to 4:00 p.m. All activities will run continuously except for the bike tuneups, which are 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
COST: Free
PARKING: Main parking lot at 1661 Queen City Avenue or on-street parking along Queen City and Westwood avenues. There is also on-street parking on Westwood and Queen City avenues.

Greenup - Volunteer Cleanup at the Lick Run Greenway - Saturday, April 27, 2024
WHAT: Volunteer cleanup. All ages can participate. Pets are welcome, as long as they're on a leash. The greenup will include trash pickup and light weeding. Gloves, trash bags, and litter pickers will be supplied. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
WHERE TO MEET: Main shelter adjacent to the main parking lot at 1661 Queen City Avenue, South Fairmount (45214).
WHEN: 10:00 a.m. to Noon.
PARKING: Main parking lot at 1661 Queen City Avenue or on-street parking along Queen City and Westwood avenues. There is also on-street parking on Westwood and Queen City avenues.
